Zadar Boosted by Arrival of Hilton and Hyatt Hotels

Zadar and its nearby island of Ugljan have welcomed two new hotels: Hyatt Regency Zadar and Hotel Preko Ugljan, a Curio Collection by Hilton property.

The opening of Hyatt Regency Zadar, marks the brand’s debut in Croatia.

Located a short walk from Zadar’s UNESCO-listed Old Town, Hyatt Regency Zadar offers an enriching and inspiring setting for curious travelers exploring local attractions and is housed in the former Maraska factory, a landmark symbol of the city’s tradition of cherry liqueur production.

A short walking distance from iconic attractions like the Roman Forum and St. Donatus’ church, the hotel is the perfect base for both leisure and business travelers.

The hotel’s guestrooms and suites showcase Zadar’s renowned sunset, combining shades of yellow, gold, and orange with turquoise and emerald from the Adriatic Sea.

Guests can unwind at the property’s Lavanda Spa, which features heated indoor and outdoor pools.

Hotel Preko Ugljan

Hilton’s latest property in Croatia is the new-build Hotel Preko Ugljan resort, which features 65 thoughtfully designed rooms, including seven spacious suites, each with additional external balconies.

Located on the island of Ugljan, just a 25-minute ferry ride from Zadar, the resort offers easy access to historic towns and pristine beaches, such as Lovre and Prtljug are a short drive away. The hotel also offers a speedboat shuttle service to Zadar for those looking to make the most of the UNESCO city and its sights.

At the hotel, guests can enjoy the spa with an indoor pool, sauna, and gym for some relaxation.

The resort also boasts a Retreat Garden with an outdoor swimming pool, bar and bites station, and a relax zone among olive trees.
