Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady Makes First Call to Dubrovnik

Virgin Voyages’ flagship vessel, Scarlet Lady, arrived in Dubrovnik for the very first time this morning, marking another important milestone for the cruise line’s growing presence in the Adriatic.

The occasion was welcomed by the team at Adriatic DMC, who continue to provide shore excursion services and destination support for Virgin Voyages throughout the region with more than 10 different shore excursion programs delivered for it passengers in Dubrovnik today.

As the first ship launched by Virgin Voyages, Scarlet Lady introduced a completely new concept to the cruise industry when she entered service in 2021. Designed exclusively for adults, the ship combines modern luxury with a more relaxed and experience-driven style of travel.

Onboard features include more than 20 dining venues, immersive entertainment, wellness-focused facilities, and contemporary spaces created by some of the world’s leading designers and architects. Scarlet Lady accommodates approximately 2,770 guests and more than 1,100 crew members.

Since first setting sail from Portsmouth in the United Kingdom in 2021, Scarlet Lady has become one of the industry’s most recognizable new-generation cruise ships, earning praise for its innovative approach to hospitality and elevated onboard experience.

To commemorate the ship’s inaugural call to Dubrovnik, Adriatic DMC Managing Director Srdjan Kristic met with Scarlet Lady’s captain onboard the vessel, where the two exchanged ceremonial gifts to mark the occasion and celebrate the continued partnership between Virgin Voyages and Adriatic DMC.
