Farewell Kim Butigan

As our Marketing Manager, she went far beyond her role – not only building our brand and communication but also actively contributing to administrative tasks, proposing improvements as the company grew year after year, and nurturing our team spirit through team-building activities and daily support.

She has always been more than a colleague – she was a true driver of our positive workplace culture, helping strengthen the bonds that make Adriatic DMC what it is today.

Now, as she returns to Manchester, a city closely tied to her own story, her farewell words carried special meaning: she compared Adriatic DMC to “Manchester United in ’99” – a team with outstanding leadership, great people, and an unbeatable spirit – making it all the harder for her to say goodbye.

This past Saturday, we celebrated her journey with a farewell dinner party at Seoska Kuća in Čilipi. With music, a DJ, laughter, and dancing into the late hours, the evening was a fitting tribute. The theme, “Goodbye Croatia, hello England – but still with us!”, reflected the essence of this transition.
