Croatia Opens Ports to All International Cruise Passenger Vessels

The Croatian government has opened all ports to international cruise ships without restriction

The Croatian Civil Defense Department has announced that all Croatian ports are open to international cruise passenger vessels without restriction, effective 1 March 2021. All of Croatia’s Adriatic ports will now be able to welcome cruise ships arriving from foreign ports.

Crews and passengers will be subject to Croatia’s epidemiological measures. Croatia’s main cruise ports of Rovinj, Zadar, Sibenik, Split and Dubrovnik welcomed hundreds of thousands of tourists in 2019.

Today marks the start of a second phase in the slow ease in restrictions with café bars opening their terraces this morning. Museums, galleries, theatres and attractions are permitted to operate under epidemiological measures meaning that the majority of shore excursions are able to operate.
