Anja joined Adriatic DMC with a wealth of experience in tourism, having worked in operations for a leading global yacht agency and a renowned adventure travel tour operator. Her degree in business economics, specializing in tourism, means she's familiar with all aspects of the industry.

A former athlete, Anja has swapped competitive sports for recreational ones, enjoying tennis with friends as well as hiking, cycling, and swimming.

Of all the places she's traveled to, she says Portugal's capital city stole her heart, having been lucky enough to live there for a period. 

When it comes to her homeland, Korcula Island features at the top of her list. Anja believes it has a special energy, beauty, and authenticity which create a sense of peace and a connection with nature and tradition.
