Adriatic DMC Welcomes 5 Ships in One Day

A milestone day for Adriatic DMC's Croatian cruise season as five vessels arrive

Adriatic DMC’s successful cruise season continues in October with the arrival of five cruise ships to different Croatian ports today. The leading regional destination management company is running the ground operations and shore excursions for some of the world’s leading cruise companies in ports spanning the length of the country.

Azamara Quest and Windstar Cruises’ Wind Surf sailed into the Istrian ports of Pula and Rovinj respectively this morning. Our Slavonia Operations Manager Tena Magdic welcomed Avalon Waterways to the Danube River port of Ilok while in Dalmatia, the team is busy handling the arrival of Viking Cruises’ Viking Sea in Zadar and Sea Dream Yacht Club’s Sea Dream I in Split.

Managing Director Srdjan Kristic commented on the arrivals: “To receive five ships in one day into our Croatian ports would have been remarkable pre-pandemic, so to achieve this milestone in 2021 with all the barriers to international travel in place feels like a huge victory for the whole team.

“Our success in bringing international cruise ships back to Adriatic and Danube ports is the result of excellent relationships with our partners and months of thorough preparation. I look forward to the 2022 season and even more arrivals.”
