Itinerary

DAY 1: SATURDAY, SPLIT

The M/S Mama Marija is docked in the Split harbor where passengers can come aboard during the entire day. The official welcome meeting will start at 7 PM with a welcome greeting by the Cruise director and the Captain, who will introduce the boat crew and your fellow passengers. Welcome dinner will be served at 7:30 PM.

The embarkation will be possible throughout the day, yet access to cabins is granted from 1 PM onwards. Passengers arriving prior to 1 PM can leave their luggage onboard. Any late arriving passengers will be welcomed aboard by the Captain, and will be served a cold platter dinner.

Day 2: SUNDAY, SPLIT - TROGIR

Upon arrival to Split our local expert guide will take you for a walking tour of this ancient city. Stroll the Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy the vibrant metropolitan atmosphere on Split’s many alleys and popular Riva. At noon we cruise towards another UNESCO site, the nearby town of Trogir with swimming break and lunch en route. Trogir is often referred to as a “town-museum” as this entire historic walled town is a UNESCO protected site brimming with traditional stone-houses, ancient palaces, churches, monasteries, towers, and the Cathedral of St. Lawrence which you will all get to see on a guided walking tour of the city this afternoon. Evening and dinner are at leisure.

Day 3: MONDAY, TROGIR – BOL – VIS

We start our day with morning departure towards Brac Island where our first destination is the coastal town Bol, home to the most famous beach in Croatia. Travelers will enjoy a few hours in Bol, when they are free to discover this Dalmatian town, its beaches, restaurants and cafes at leisure until lunch is served onboard. After lunch we will continue to Vis Island. This traditional fishermens' island has a long maritime history with a bounty of pirate legends, but also ancient archaeological sites, winemaking tradition and stunning beaches. Rest of the day is at leisure in Vis, and travellers are invited to explore the island on their own and enjoy its many supreme seafood restaurants for dinner.

Optional Excursion - Vis Island Tour

We start our tour of Vis, our coach will follow the old road, rises above the town and overlooks the bay. After that, we descend to the ﬁelds and drive through vineyards and olive groves passing by the former allied airport from WWII and then we descend us down to Komiža. Free time in Komiža, stunning fishermen's village to have dinner in one of the cozy restaurants. Return to a boat for overnight.

Day 4: TUESDAY, VIS-BISEVO BLUE CAVE – HVAR

This morning we will cruise to the nearby small island Bisevo, home to a stunning natural phenomenon of light and water, the Blue Cave. The cave is world famous for otherworldly blue interior, a result of sunlight reflecting off the water and white seabed. The entrance to the cave is only possible by official small boats (entrance fee included), and is dependent on weather.After a swim stop and lunch on board we’ll continue cruising along many coves and bays, towards Hvar, the sunniest Croatian island. Hvar is one of the country’s most attractive tourist destinations and a meeting point of international jetsetters. Upon our arrival to Hvar, a local English speaking guide will walk you through this unique city, introducing you to its millennia-long history, culture and a way of life, along with few island’s peculiarities, such as the traditional farming of lavender. Afterwards, you'll have an evening on your own to explore and dine in one of numerous family owned restaurants and taverns.

Day 5: WEDNESDAY, HVAR – KORCULA

We start our day with morning departure towards the island of Korcula. We will make a swimming break along the way, and lunch will be served on board prior to reaching Korcula in the early afternoon hours. Once we dock, the group will spend an entire afternoon discovering the cobbled streets of Korcula, guided by one of our local experts who will take the group for a historic walking city tour. Known as the birthplace of Marko Polo, the ancient city is home to a museum dedicated to this world explorer, a 15^th century St. Mark’s Cathedral, Renaissance and Gothic architecture, the Bishop's Treasury of Korcula, which houses a remarkable collection of fine and sacral art by Renaissance artists, including sketches by Raphael and many historic sites to be explored. The rest of the evening is at leisure for guests to enjoy discovering Korcula and dining o in of Korcula’s many restaurants.

Day 6: THURSDAY, KORCULA – MLJET – SIPAN ISLAND OR SLANO

After breakfast our adventure continues as we set off to Mljet National Park. This morning is reserved for Mljet National Park exploration (entrance fees are included), its untouched nature, olive groves, vineyards, villages, two salt-water lakes and a Benedictine monastery on the island of St. Mary. Lunch is served on board as we continue to cruise toward Sipan Island where we will dock in the Sipanska Luka village.

We shall continue our cruise to Šipan Island where we shell anchor in a small picturesque peaceful fishermen’s village of Sipanska Luka. Because this port is so small, our docking here is weather and lock schedule dependent so in case we are not able to anchor in Šipanska Luka we will continue to Slano, a mainland town situated in a beautiful bay on the Dubrovnik Riviera. Our Captain tonight hosts a dinner on board along live music entertainment.

Optional afternoon excursion - Ston Oyster & Seafood Tasting

We start our tour by coach with an English-speaking guide to Ston, a fortified town famous for 5-kilometer long walls, a city built in the 15th century according to a plan with a rectangular scheme of streets and squares. Ston is renowned for its delicious oysters and mussels. Another landmark of Ston is its old salt ponds where the salt is still gathered today in the old way. After a relaxed time, we will have dinner that will include a three-course meal, three oysters, seafood risotto, dessert and glass of wine and water with dinner. After dinner, we will go back to Slano for overnight onboard.

Day 7: FRIDAY, SIPAN or SLANO - DUBROVNIK

This morning we leave towards our last destination on this journey, the famous Pearl of the Adriatic – Dubrovnik. Guests can enjoy stunning landscapes as we pass along the Elaphiti Islands archipelago, and Dubrovnik Riviera. Approaching the ancient city, we will cruise along the Dubrovnik City Walls and will anchor directly in front to provided guests with truly unforgettable views of the city as we have lunch on board. The historic center of Dubrovnik, Old Town, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that the group will explore on a guided city tour this afternoon. Afterwards, you will have time at leisure to explore on your own, visit the city walls, or take the cable car to the top of the Mount Srdj as well as have dinner at leisure in on of Dubrovnik’s many restaurants. Return scheduled transfer to boat will be organized by coach.

M/S MAMA MARIJA INFORMATION

This 19-cabin vessel is 47 meters (155 ft.) long and 8.7 meters (28.6 ft.) wide, featuring latest state-of-the-art equipment and amenities guaranteeing a luxury, intimate journey for all passengers. Closed Circuit Video surveillance, complete navigation equipment, fire alarm, smoke detectors, life rafts and tenders are there for your personal safety.

Passenger cabins are situated on two decks and measure 14-16 sq. meters. They are modernly designed, fully air conditioned, and feature a safe deposit box, Wi-Fi, Sat TV, fire alarm, smoke detectors, private en suites, toilet and shower in cabin, bathroom toiletries, hair dryer, lifejackets, luggage space under the bed, cupboard & wardrobe cabinet with window or porthole.

Eight cabins that can be transformed into double or twin beds. These cabins have two locked portholes.

Main Deck Cabins
Ten cabins with windows, with double or twin beds and some can have third bed.

PUBLIC AREAS

Extra-large, fully air-conditioned, salon-restaurant is on the upper deck where guests can enjoy their meals. A separate bar and lounge area are adjacent, along with a big screen LCD TV.

Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) is free of charge for all clients, loudspeakers, audio-system, and microphone for notifications through entire boat or just restaurant area and beautiful large windows for complete passenger’s satisfaction.

The outside terrace features tables and chairs to be used for breakfast or lounging. This is a fully covered area, that can be closed with removable plastic windows (in case of winds) but most of the time is open for a breathtaking sea views.

The boat has a platform for swimming, two ladders with handholds for an easy access to the water and two outdoor showers and public toilettes.

The high deck features the Sun Deck, an area of 390 square meters with sun-beds. This is the best part of the boat for those who enjoy sunbathing while part of a sun deck is shaded for clients’ comfort.
